This has gotta be one of the strongest video’s I’ve ever seen.  Straight up.

I honestly can’t remember the first time I bought a pair of Vans - the good old skool black and white checkereds.  But it’s a testament to the brand that people from any walk of life, background and culture have worn at least one pair throughout their life.

It’s moments like these we realise how fucking caught up we get with all the surroundings bombarded upon us; when really all we need to do is to stay true to ourselves.

Hermes meets Vans. This collaboration has a lot more significance than meets the eye.  In 1937 Hermes shot to recognition with their silk scarves that exist till this day.  In 1966 Paul Van Doren sold his first pair of Vans with the same sole structure..that exists till this day. So when Robert Verdi was refused a collaboration between these completely opposite brands he approached Vans to have some custom-made for his own collection.
