Behold and bow down to the Multi Media Offroad Vehicle.  In short - MMOV.  A revolution of 3D mapping projection, what you see right here; is the next level.
Now take that level and times it by ten - and then place that level in the North African Desert.  That’s whats happening right now with Mar-K.os and his visual designing agency Visual Drugstore.
Although, MMOV has been used mainly for events and campaigns, including the Intel Mapping in Hannover, Germany; the MMOV is now on a new purpose of exploration in order to push both artistic and technological boundaries.
Mar-K.os is joined by a team of artists including Jacek Krawczyk, Peter Bodingbauer, Lars Kriener to travel for an undisclosed amount of time in the desert projecting images onto desert terrain, temples and pyramids.  The convoy consists of MMOV I (MAN mil gl KAT 7t, 6x6), MMOV II/mini (VW MAN 8.136 FAE, 4x4), VD Truck (VW Amarok w/modified suspension, 4x4), and a VD Quad (Polaris Sportsman 850XP, 4x4).
The most interesting thing about this project will be the interaction between technology, multimedia and nature - how will using multimedia in complete nature perform, what boundaries will be broken and will the outcome be as powerful as the ones we have seen with urban 3D mapping projections.
BIG up once again - to Markos Kern and the Visual Drugstore team.
