Modern-age pocket watch by Cartier.
In a world where mobile devices seem to carry everything that we need to keep ‘organised’ it must be a watch-makers nightmare to make something that is worth buying.
But then again - watches are essentially the only technological device that has been able to withstand the forces of technological advances.
To a certain extent.
For this timepiece - Cartier has looked back into the early 20th Century when pocket-watches were the norm - and they have done a pretty amazing job. The attention to detail, as always, is outstanding and the design of the watch definitely offers a modern twist to the classic product.
Naturally, it’s a limited edition - 10 pieces only. Very tempting.
